Jeff Lankov is a pianist, musical director, and composer, active in both classical and popular styles.  Recent appearances have included solo recitals, chamber music concerts, a recording of The Piano Music of George Gershwin and concertos of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg, Gershwin and Bernstein.  Lankov's solo recitals often feature works by living composers and unusual juxtapositions of repertoire.  Past concerts have included music for toy piano and prepared piano, Lankov's own solo-piano transcription of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, and a program of piano music by American composer Robert Xavier Rodríguez.  Lankov has served as musical director for such theatre companies as Radio City Music Hall, Dallas Summer Musicals, Dallas Theater Center, and Casa Mañana, as well as several national tours.  He recently saw the premiere of his new theatrical production, Love Is Here To Stay: A George Gershwin Revue.  Lankov received his formal training at the St. Louis Conservatory of Music and Interlochen Arts Academy.  Since leaving his position as Artist-In-Residence at the University of Texas at Dallas, Lankov has relocated to New York City, where he is pursuing graduate studies at New York University.
